Billing, top-ups and troubleshooting

Group snapshot 2026-09-30 · settlement follows the console record

Billing is usage-based: you pay per model and per token, with no flat subscription. The multiplier comes from the group chosen for the API key — see /groups for the current public groups. Every request's token usage and charge is recorded and can be audited in the console.

How is a request billed?

Per-model unit price × tokens actually consumed, where the amount charged = official model price × the multiplier of the group selected for the API key. Token usage and charges are recorded for every request and can be checked line by line in the console.

What should I check when a request returns 429?

A 429 can have more than one cause: first check whether the account quota and balance are sufficient, since an insufficient balance is rejected outright; if the balance is fine and it still fires often, the API key or its group has most likely hit a rate-limit window (5-hour / daily / weekly), so retry later or adjust the key's rate settings; also confirm the model belongs to the group selected for that key.

What payment methods are supported for top-ups?

The minimum top-up is 5 USD per transaction with no service fee, via Stripe (Visa / MasterCard / Alipay / AMEX) or cryptocurrency (USDT / USDC), converted at the exchange rate at top-up time. What is actually paid follows the console and the payment record at settlement time.

Does NextHub publish an SLA or uptime commitment?

No. The published terms explicitly do not promise service availability, price, speed or regional availability. NextHub does not publish uptime or latency statistics; settlement and availability are governed by the published Terms of Service.

How does NextHub relate to OpenRouter or the official model providers?

NextHub is an independent API gateway, not an official agent, employee, affiliate or authorized representative of OpenAI or Anthropic, and not an official product of OpenRouter. Requests are forwarded to upstream official APIs through the platform's account pools; the amount charged is the official model price × the selected group multiplier. When comparing services, rely on each service's own published terms and prices.
